Weight

The Blackout in the previous post :

7 lb 10 oz no mag
7 lb 15 oz with a Pmag
8 lb 15 oz with a box of Hornady 110 grain sitting on the scale.

    I remember when I made nine pound loaded AR's...

    Then Harvey made her Platoon carbine that was six and change loaded.

    It ruins the perspective it does.

    I knew if the barrel was .750" that far out, it was a lost cause for weight. Even Noveske 16" barrels run 31 oz. 8.5" barrels are 20 oz or so.
