Faking NOT running out of bullets

That is what this woman did- she armed herself with a .38 when some POS broke into her house. She emptied it into him, then held him   scared him off with the empty gun. Guess Mr Out on Parole doesn't count too good.

I don't think he was going to last very long:

Channel 2’s Amy Napier Viteri learned from Chapman late Friday night that Slater has been placed on a ventilator and suffers from punctured lungs, a punctured liver and a punctured stomach.
He said if Slater survives the night, doctors will try to operate in the morning to repair the damage.
Chapman said Slater has four exit wounds.

He still would have had time to take her or her child with him. I don't blame her- it is damn hard to corral a child, get your gun and phone and hide. A spare speedloader would not be the first thing I grabbed.

But we can repeat this nationally with a normal capacity magazine ban. Of course, then the only people with normal capacity magazines will be criminals and David Gregory. But I repeat myself.

They will take your gun away and kill you with it

The good news, it was a criminal getting his gun taken away. From the sounds of it, the corpse had a hell of a record, too. No word on if the DC zampolitz will charge the victim with unlawful possession of a firearm.

Defensive Gun Use in New Jersey

A rarity- a New Jersey permit holder! Goblin came in with a gun demanding Oxy, etc, and chased the pharmacist through the store. The pharmacist is/was an Army Major, and had his own gun:

Police say the pharmacist, identified as Dr. John Agyemang, distracted the suspect by telling him there was someone entering the store. While the suspect turned around, Agyemang ran to the back of the store and got his gun, according to police.
The suspect fled the store, with the pharmacist chasing after him. Authorities say Agyemang fired at least five shots at the suspect outside the pharmacy

The only 2 things I can fault. One, off body carry. Two, shooting outside the store at a fleeing suspect. Strangely, the New Jersey cops were cool with it, at least according to the video. Now, if it turns out the Goblin was firing back, fault point two is invalidated.

I wish there was better video. What little I have seen of the suspect, he's a dude dressed in drag to disguise himself from the camera. I seem to remember a little song that would go perfectly with a criminal running away.....

This might be an old defensive gun use

But it is a good one. A woman was attacked leaving her place of business, located across from a police station. Fortunately for her, she was armed and fought them off.

Then there was the above, in the comments. Nice, you read a story about a woman successfully defending herself against two attackers, and your first thought is to say she will have the gun taken away and used against her? How's that antigun dogma working for Allie? I also notice she's a "female gun owner, butt". A species similar to the elusive "I'm a hunter, butt" that infests the newspaper discussions of Second Amendment topics. Also hits on the "you must have training to even know what a gun is" meme. Oh, and the escalation meme, your life and body are not worth fighting over meme. What else am I missing?

On a time frame note, this story is from April/May. Kathy Jackson, via her Cornered Cat page, posted it on Facebook today. The "female gun owner, butt" comment appeared today. Looks like the antis read her stuff, too.

Edit- Moved to top of stack.
If I have to explain the use of "Butt" vs "But" in the the antigun spammer description, YOU are the Butt, not me.....

Employee shoots sword wielding suspect

A Dairy Queen in Las Vegas was being robbed by a criminal with a sword, and one of the employees rightfully shot his ass dead.

Below is a reenactment of the incident:

Use of a 30 round magazine in self defense.

How's that headline grab you?* From Ma-rooned, one of his dead goblin additions.

A crew decided to rob a gun store, and the owner responded using an AR-15, emptying a mag while fighting the men, killing at least one and wounding the other two. Good. The fact that the morons announced they would kill the guy makes it even better- guess they thought a guy who lives behind his gun store would surrender when faced with 3 putzes attacking him. Guess what, guys? Hippie peacenik types don't own gun stores.

*We need more positive news published of uses of those items that the anti-rights crowd wants eliminated.

Okay, I went there again

This one is almost a better fit...... The pileup at the door is great. Don't know how to remove the ABC news logo, might get me in trouble.
Heh, my wife called to yell at me. People are wondering why she is laughing so hard it brought tears to her eyes....

Another senoir citizen self defense shooting on video

With similar results:

Interesting that the spokesman says they have the right to arm themselves.

To Yakkity Sax or not to Yakkity Sax.......maybe I need to splice it in with the other DGU....

Big set of brass....

Ovaries. The mother of the POS that kidnapped a woman in a Kroger's and was shot by a manager is now suing Kroger's in a wrongful death lawsuit. Sorry if I am late to the story*, but WTF? Should have said her son was only shopping for skittles and iced tea. Hell, that might be in her complaint. Need to subject
her to the punishment her son would have gotten for kidnapping if she wants to profit from his death in this way.
*Late to the lawsuit story, it was filed on July 13. I remember the DGU story and the initial irony of Kroger's being a No Self Defense Zone.

Sorry, could not resist

My first thought yesterday was this DGU needs something.

Buy this guy a bigger gun

I just read the story of the CCW holder in Florida who prevented two enterprising young youths from taxing a local internet cafe. There is video. No word if Angela Corey is going to be put on the case. I can see it now- "They weren't even pointing a gun at him when he fired!"

Good work, sir. Makes me want to not carry a .380, though......
