140% voting turnout

In any precinct that has over 100% turnout, if there are no provisional ballots to make up the difference, the people running the polls need to be arrested and charged with election fraud every time. Or tarred and feathered. Contrary to popular opinion, math is not hard.

The explanation is that because we had a two page ballot here in FL that's fed into the scanner separately a single voter counts as two "votes" in the machine. So the 141% turnout is really just a 70% or so (which lots of counties did).

What makes it weak sauce is only a couple of counties seem to have this counting issue.

Seems to me that'd be easy to compare votes cast to the list of voters marked off.

I did find an article about that and Alan West. Every time they recount the votes, the totals are different. Good old Florida. I also like that they didn't count all the absentee votes yet, either. Now those votes are wasted.
