300 BLK makes sense to me in one way

All the leftover parts I have accumulated would put one together once I find a barrel. And old, split neck 223 cases would feed it quite well. I just need a source of pulled 308 bullets to make the total package a used clusterflog. Wonder if that guy with the old, nasty stripped A2 upper will be at the show tomorrow...

What weight bullets are you looking for? I've got a bunch of 308's around here.

I am not sure. 220 grain are used for subsonic. I don't think it is as sensitive to COAL as 6.8 SPC. 6.8 is sensitive to bullet shape, too. 300 seems like throw it in and see what happens. Still haven't ordered the barrel or dies yet.
